Wow, impressing how he turns the conversation around to him and his denigrating remarks…
I’m very dissapointed by the way they joke about this very serious problem. They don’t understand that a true narcissist is not a walking resumé.
“You need a man who just takes you by your long beautiful brown hair in his big arms.” Lisa, you did not take charge in this conversation.. they just made fun of you and you let them.

That’s just Mancow’s schtick. That’s what he does. I knew it going in and was prepared. I didn’t talk back because it’s like being asked to go on Howard Stern and then being mad that he was a sexist, pig.
It’s good exposure for us though. We want to build awareness on narcissism. I’m going to capitalize on every opportunity I get to spread the word. While Mancow is certainly not the ideal platform for this issue, it is a platform. He admits himself that he is a narcissist.
I have a couple tv gigs coming up (a morning show and a talk show) soon. Things are starting to move and we’re getting a lot of interest in the topic, but everyone wants the material to be funny. Humor is the best form of therapy in my opinion so this is good, but please don’t be offended if we bring humor into the mix here.
I know narcissism is a very serious subject. I never would have invested so much in this if I didn’t think it was serious. However, in order to get exposure, we’re going to have to roll with the punches and use a little humor.
I hope it doesn’t rub anyone the wrong way. If so, I apologize in advance and please know we share the overall mission, which is to build awareness and educate people so they can avoid getting involved with a narcissist. Thank you all for working with me on this goal. I couldn’t do any of it without you! You rock!
Big Hugs,
Lisa
